Broken Brake Release Handle 1990 300SL
The handle on the left (just below the air vent) that releases the emergency brake, broke of. . . complelely off. I can repair it with some plate work & fasteners which will take a good 3 hours of labor, but prefer not to. Has anyone replaced theirs and how difficult is it (hours?)?? Costly?? I am a DIY person as a matter of economics and would appreciate some helpful hints here. Parts House purchases at a better price than dealer for this item??
