You are only going to get the line from the red arrow forward and nothing else.
Is the part from the left side of the red arrow or the right side? I am trying to order the parts but I believe I would also need the part I circled in red so that service only line can click into the line. Or does the line come with that part? These are images of what I’m talking about. Thank You

If the main feed line is the only thing you broke, then the answer is NO.

this line is broken and the connector where the service only line clicks into.

Would I even need the service loop line? Or would I connect the line #95 directly to the service only port on the filter? is the line #95 long enough?

No. You don’t need the loop line.

As the note under the diagram explains, your 2002 ML is fitted with the larger filter, so it doesn’t require the extra line.

The original filter was shorter and fit directly onto the black fuel line. After they discontinued it, the simplest way to fit the longer filter was to run the loop.

Your ML has a shorter fuel line that connects directly to the fuel filter. When you correctly order part #95 in the diagram, they will send you the shorter line that matches your long filter.

You wasted your money buying the “service only” loop line. But that was 2 years ago.

(I am replying to the question for 43sqd in case he has given up on you.)

Dr. X, thank you for answering his question but he asked this question 11 hrs. ago.

Where in the world is there a requirement that I continuously sit by my desktop waiting to answer his next question?

Actually, I edited it right after I posted it, because I knew you wouldn’t like it.

Thanks I am going to order it, so no additional connector is needed? The line connects directly onto the left side of the filter? I am going to have a mechanic do it but I want to make sure I have all the parts.

Correct. No additional connector is needed.

Yes. (In case the last time I told you this wasn’t clear enough.)

It is the exact replacement for the line you broke while disconnecting it from the filter.
