Hi Jeff.
A tennis ball will do you no good on a W124. And there is no spare key.
It can be opened in 1 second with an L-pick. But then you have to know exactly where to pull down there.
If I were you, I would use a plastic or wooden wedge, and bend the door outwards at the top in the back. Then make a stiff wire with a hook on one end, and a handle bar at the other. The handle bar is for twisting the wire. Make sure it's long enough to reach the door opener inside. Get a friend to insert the wedge, and bend the door out. Take the wire and insert it carefully towards the opener handle. It is favourable if the wire has a slight curve shape. Get the hook inside the handle, then twist and pull carefully. The door will take a lot of bending before damage. Be aware that if the door is not bendt out enough, paint will be scratched off at the door top.
If this is not feasable, call a tower. It's no problem.
Good luck.
Regards
Geir
