My dealer told me to give it about 500-1000miles of "careful" driving in "C" mode then switch it to "S" mode and have at it. I am at about 700 miles and I am still taking care of it, but I would be a liar if I said I havent downshifted a few times to get on the on-ramp a bit more quickly. I think you should just be careful of how low you drop it for the first 1000 miles, if you have to kick down a gear thats fine but 2 gears at high RPMs may be a little early on the tranny. Just my opinion
