I'm in Moab and cannot backup other than crawling without the brakes locking up like it is sensing serious slipping. No codes. No event that caused it - just drove 1200 miles from Texas. Have pulled fuses and relays related to ETS/BAS but with no help. Will even do it in neutral with the engine off but key on. 4Lo, same thing. Disconnected battery for 30 minutes. Any ideas?

You have probably fixed it already. Otherwise, if it will not coast backward on a slight incline with the ignition key off and transmission in neutral, check for dislodged parking brake shoe lining.

Thanks for checking. It was finally narrowed down to the front pasenger side tire with the help of a MB Tech on another forum and then further isolated to a missing lower caliper bolt! All is well and I hope to post my Moab pictures soon - there certainly has never been a '55 on these trails OR at the top of Lion's Back.
