1991 190E with 180K miles. When the car warms up the calipers bind against the rotors and cause resistance (cannot turn wheels by hand). When it cools down calipers release. Additionally, the car shakes at 70mph. Im thinking that it is cause by the brakes binding as the steering box, supension, and wheel bearings are all tight. There is enough fluid in the master cylinder. Could it be an ABS problem or brake hoses collapsing???? Can anyone help???

I would have said the caliper is worn, the piston wont release after the brake is applied, this happened to me once, I had to keep driving through puddles![:D]

You can buy a repair kit though it.

Hi,
agree with Mike65. Had a similar problem with my rear brakes. Although calipers rebuilt by prof. place in one caliper piston stayed stuck in a certain position. Ended up buying another used caliper. Buy the rebuild kit
from MB as quality seems to be better than from an aftermarket place
