Hi guys, new boy here.
My wife has a 2008 B180 diesel. Had it recently serviced and they recommended rear discs and pads and fuel filter. Finally got round to buying them yesterday but have a couple of questions if anyone can help.

Fitting the rear discs. Can you slide the discs off with the hand brake released or do you need to release the handbrake shoes? If so how??

The fuel filter. When changing this does it require re priming? I cannot see any method to reprime.

Thanks in advance

The disk should come off with the brake released, as soon as you take the torx bolt holding the disk to the hub. Some good threads on brakes here. Best way is to go back to the main w245 forum, find the toolbar that says 'search this forum' or similar, and search "rear brakes".

Welsome to the forum and add profile info to help us help you out (car info and location).

Not sure about your diesel specific question, but others will know for sure.
