Yeah, you got it right! It's only 2 in front, and 1 in the rear. That's how it's supposed to be.

Are you going with ceramic pads and silver arrow rotors?
Yes Ceramic Pads,, Dimple Drilled And Slotted Rorors, And 2 Rear Cal, And 4 New S.Steel Braded Hoses, And New Hardware pins and all.Flush Out Old Brake Fluid :D

Here Is Where I Got Them From

You will be AMAZED at the difference the SS lines make. They feel like *real* brakes after that, instead of the too-soft spongy feel you're used to.
What Do You Think Of The Rotots That I Picked Out ???
And My Wife Will Be Amazed On How Much Money I Am Saving By Doing It All My Self :D

I'm Also Greasing My Front Wheel Bearings :D

Thanks

They look nice!

I have always wondered, what's the advantage of "dimpling" the rotors instead of drilling them? Must be some logic behind it...
I Have No Idea Also ,, Only What I Read,
Ant This Was There Best That They Had.

Here Is What They Write About Them

DIMPLE-DRILLED & SLOTTED
Partially Drilled Holes Dissipate Heat without Sacrificing Strength
But I'LL Be The First To Find Out :D

Anything done to increase the 'exposed' surface area of the disk rotor will help cooling. So drilling gave the most surface area but also weaken the disk (slightly). Dimple also increase the surface exposed to air and it does not weaken the disk. Slotted disk provide channels for water to 'spin' out, and also increase the surface area.

Good Answer, I Got Dimple/Drilled/Slotted All In One :D

If you are racing you may crack the drilled rotor.
Otherwise you are safe.
The idea is to have clean pads, and throw the gasses out.
And like Mick/ msbarsi says, they are good in the rain.

Hmmmm.
I got to go. No I better run, I think I got some gas. ;)
I know I am going to get in trouble with this. LOL.
S*T I have them, & love them.
Look cool too. ;)

Regards.

Joe I think any known brand of DOT 4 brake fluid will do the job. I have always been advised not to use DOT 5 but I've never understood why even if I've always thought about it.
I know it's not that much of advise but that's all I know about brake fluids.

Hope it helps.

Cheers.

Well Im Going With Castrol GT/LMA SYNTHETIC For ABS, Disc,And Drum Brake System Exceeds DOT 3 & DOT 4 Specs NEW Formuler

I Never Had Any Brake Fluid Problems, And Hope I Don't
I'm Going To Flush It All Out With A Pressure Pump So I'LLGet It All Out Along With The Air.
This Is The Pump I'm Going To Use,, You "GOT TO LOVE E-BAY"

Hi Joe.
Thanks for asking my advice.
But as usual it comes with plus. ;)

I think any good quality brake fluid that meets dot 4 and manufacturers requirements is OK by me.
I am not a Mercedes parts fanatic, I go for the after market but with careful choices,
I go for the Mercedes parts makers, but with out the star mark on them.

I go for Bosch on electronic parts, Febi on fluids, Bilstien struts. Etc.

As long and it mixes with the existing fluid/
I also have used Castrol dot 3-4 with no problems.

Hmmmmmmmmmm.
You mentioned that you have posted it in R129.
( That's us.)
I wonder where else have you posted it in, may be in one of the P#$% sites? Haha.
You bad boy you.
I would not install the silicone stuff in............
It is OK for fun clutches, tits and nipples.
( Oops, did I misspell something? )

But I will keep it away from ABS and the suspension mechanics.

Regards.
aam.

PS.
Like msbarsi and Chris have said, I go along with them.

Well AAM
I Have No Idea Where Else I Posted This Question I Have CRS Real Bad It's A Sickness

But I Do Know I'LL Use DOT 4

See My Pump I Just Got ?? That Should Get Out All The AIR , Even The Hot Air Ha Ha Ha
