Brake systems Rotors and Pads which is best?

I'm trying to decide on which brand of brakes to go with. So far, the most economical high performance brand is the Power Stop Evolution Z23 cross-drilled & slotted rotors with carbon fiber/ceramic pads. I can't even find good brake brand comparisons on YouTube! Quite frustrating! For W163 AMG models, a complete rotor/pad brands, compared against each other would be ideal.
It seems like the ML55 AMG community is a small one. So, I am considering Stoptech, EBC, Power Stop, Brembo, and maybe Bosch. I'm definitely going with ceramic pads no doubt, but I heard that Brembo's OEM pads are not made by Brembo which I doubt. It would be nice if someone with an ML55 AMG did a stop comparison with these brands to see who's got the best stopping power for a high performance SUV.
Even with EBC, it's not clear which pads to go with since, they make pads in every color stuff option. I am confused as far as which stuff is best for a high performance SUV? They say the green stuff is and then they say the red stuff is, and then they say the yellow stuff is. Their descriptions are similar for each of these options which makes it very confusing. Besides being aware of the major difference of track pads (blue stuff I think?), versus street pads but, how different is street performance vs. high performance and high performance versus high performance SUV? It's easy for these brands to confuse the customer with how they describe each model as being the best option for your driving style. I really wish they'd make it easier by saying hey, here's a pad for OEM light driving and here's a high performance aggressive light track pad for street, and then of course a full track racing pad.
Well this forum is asking for any suggestions on a brake brand which would highly be recommended for a W163 AMG models with a slightly aggressive driving style. Which Brand's have you tried for this model or, a similar AMG SUV and which combination worked out best for you? A good brand non-drilled/slotted rotor like EBC or, Brembo versus another brands drilled and/or slotted rotor?
I am only interested in hearing about EBC, Stoptech/Centric, PowerStop, Brembo, Akebono, and any other high performance brand combination of rotor and pad. Not interested in any Auto Parts Store brands or semi-metallic recommendations. Thanks but, no thanks.
I think this will become an interesting thread since I know that many of this will come down to personal preference but, I do wish there were fact based comparisons with real stats. But oh well, let's see where this goes and thanks for your time and help with helping me make a final decision.

This is what I know from my installations of brake components on my 05 ML-500 .I bought the ML , used from a gentleman in Minneapolis . He had just had the brakes replaced, with new New Zimmerman rotors & Akebono Euro ceramic pads. I drove the ML back to Florida. I have driven it for the last 8 years and 138,000 miles. With not a issue . Brake dust was non-exsitanct and no brake squeal . Which I really liked about this combination . . About 3 months ago I got a dash light indicator , indicating a brake pad wear sensor was touching the Rotor . ( Right rear ) 83,000 miles on a set of rotors & pads. for me that was fantastic ! . I replaced them with Performance Brake company ( Chatsworth . Ca ) Slotted rotors only. Did not use their Pads. Went to Rock Auto and got AKEBONO Euro pads. I've tried EBC Green stuff pads on a Smart Car , CLK 55 AMG . E55 AMG , all were noisy and very dusty. and used Mercedes OEM replacement rotors . Cheers _PTEngineering

Been using Power Sport Ceramic brake pads front and rear on the factory ML500 disc rotors. No issues, minimal dust.
