I have BAS message, code "bad brake switch".
I removed switch, checked it with multimeter, it was really bad.
I got one from junk yard, it was good. But I still have "BAS" message.
I guess I need to begin checking wires etc.
Any ideas?

I believe there is also a switch integrated into the BAS/ESP system. I'd check that one. For MY2002, they actually deleted the plunger switch on the pedal and use the BAS/ESP switch only. Also, I believe that if the plunger switch is bad, your brake lights stay on.
