Brake Rotors off Ebay

It's close to brake replacement time for my '02 500 on all 4 wheels (43k miles). I came across this Ebay listing and was wondering if anyone on the forum has dealt with Night's Auto (I know it sounds shady!) before. The price seems right for F & R drilled Brembo rotors at $271.00.

Thanks for any input.

I bought a brembo front rotor for my 98 bmw from this seller. I called him up prior to bidding for this item. I spoke to an asian guy and he knows his stuff. I received the item pretty quick. After 2 months i just ordered direct for another set for my 2001 bmw. I paid the same as quoted in Ebay.
It says they are offering CADMIUM COATING as an option. Anyone know anything about this? It would make them a gold color, wouldn't it?

Does it matter? I expect the coating would be worn off quick by the pads.

Cadmium coating will wear off the braking surface, but might hold down rust on the edges and holes. Cadmium is normally silver; titanium oxide is gold.

l purchased them as well..l live in Guelph, Ontario, about 45 minutes from Toronto, where Night's auto is located....Great guys to deal with....no worries..
Get them from R1Concepts on Ebay. They offered crossdrilled/slotted and zinc coated. They are made from grade A rotors. and are all CNC Machined. They look wonderful. I will have them on my truck when the weather gets better. I had the brembos plated.crossdrilled on my Maxima. The coating last 2 miles and the rotors warped at 8k. The factory rotors lasted 9k before runout.
donho, are you saying R1Concept is selling Brembo or Brembo-style rotor? The one you put on the Maxima was Brembo and it didn't last long? I saw Night's "Brembo" on eBay and I don't know if it is the real Brembo so emailed him.

By the way, I used to have Tornado on my 944 and I was about to get another one last month until I ran it on Google and I found this very interesting article

Buy it! They are very nice to deal with and will answer any questions that you might have. The guy to talk to is Gino. They are Brembo's and he told me they are direct ship from his supplier in Vancouver. Good Luck!!
Thanks everyone for the feedback. this is my next parts order. Now for pads .....

R1 is selling grade A OEM replacement rotors that are CNC machined. then zinc coated. What do you think the Brembo is??? Same thing. The r1 also come slotted so they look better. i have read all the articles about the tornado. I can only tell you my real world results. All AMGs run rich, the Tornado seem to lean out the mixtures slightly. Increased mileage and less black crap on the tails. Before the Tornado, 200 miles was almost impossible. Now i am always 240+ per tank(till fuel light) For the 30 bucks I paid, i think it was well worth it.
donho, thanks for input. With my Porsche 944 I didn't notice anything different hence my skepticism. Maybe I should give Tornado another shot, only $30 anyway.
