Sounds to me that its not the pad wear light but the one that comes on when the emer brake is applied. Any beeping while you are backing??

It's the warning...when my pads started running out, initially the warning only flickered on while I was braking while backing up. However you'll find that within a short period, they'll start coming on when you are driving normally. Time to start considering/budgeting for a pad change![]

Thanks for your reply. Yes beeping occurs when those 2 lights comes on. I haven't inspected the pads yet but I would assume that it will probably be the front pads going out first, right?
