Have any one ever tried puttin brake fluid in transmission to help seals and slipping? Yea it sound crazy but I have seen it done before. It work for a while but you still need to repair all work the right way.(break it down @ replace parts is the best way. This is just a quick repair.

If it was for the old ford pick-up, or the maverik, maybe, you can find a replacement for cheap. I don't know about the SL, It actually depends on alot of things. where it's leaking from, slipping isn't going to go away. are you keeping it or selling it.Most leaks can be fixed with new seals, and the fluid change might help the torque converter with pressure to help the slipping. If you put brake fluid into it, you will be causing irreverable damage,,, You can find a replacement tranny, I know, I have one out of a 75 450SLC in the back yard/
