I replaced frt and rear pads and disks a few months ago,but the brakes are starting to feel a bit weak, i.e if i press the pedal to gradually slow down they slow me but not as they used to, if i press the brake pedal twice they seem to work like they used to (i hope yr following this) Now the break fluid has not been replaced for some time and with 129000 on the clock im thinking that maybe a fluid change is due ? Anyone who could advise me to if this is poss the prob ?
Thanks in advance :)

Hi ya, it could well be the problem, it all depends how old it is and how long it is since it was last changed

Thats exactly what I'm about to do, thus why I posted the question about which brake fluid is required....

Mine too are a little on the spongy side of things.

the factory intervals are every 2 years on all mercedes benz vehicles. make sure there isnt any issues with the brake lines kinked or slide pins seized
