Brake Caliper - Core on Reman Girling?

So my rear brake rotors are getting quite rusty, suggesting to me that they're not getting used. The front rotors are really clean. I figure the next step is to rebuild the calipers.

Can someone confirm these are Bendix brake calipers for me? I've looked at 2 other posts:

http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w123-e-ce-d-cd-td/1384086-need-help-identifying-brake-caliper-brand.html

http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w123-e-ce-d-cd-td/1520535-ate-bendix.html

Someone mentioned the cotter pins on the end of the retaining pins as a bendix trait.

Happy Holidays folks.

the piston has seized, when you take it apart inspect the area around the groove where the rubber o ring would go and if it is pitted from rust you will have to replace the whole caliper, the piston (i'm assuming that the other side is probably not siezed, just guessing thou) will probably be pitted and won't seal against the o ring and will allow brake fluid to pass, so if the caliper is re-usable then look for a kit that includes a new piston because it's unlikely that you will be able to just sand the old piston to remove the rust and reuse it.

Look at the retaining springs to find out if they are ate or bendix,

edit: a side shot would get the quickest answer.

Those are not Bendix. You have Girling calipers.

H-Town:

Thanks! Can I ask how you can tell they're Girling's?

If so, I'll forego the rebuild (can't find a kit) and pickup rebuilt ATE calipers.

Has anyone seen a reman provider that will accept a Girling as the core? I don't think my calipers are rebuildable, and it appears that most vendors are only selling ATE and Bendix reman models. For ref., I've checked AutohausAZ, PeachParts, Autozone and Advanced Auto.

Hard to see, can you get a side-on view of the rotor, looks like there is a logo near the top.

Judging by the shape of the pad retention spring, I'd say Ate also.

Hey guys, well I went out tonight and took some more pics. Got the caliper wet to distiguish the markings on it. What do you make of them ??? Should I take more pics in the daylight ?? Thanks for your help.
