Some of you might have read my previous post regarding a GM pick up truck rear ended me. So to make myself feel better about the whole ordeal, this is what I think I deserve:

It's a shame, but the older model Brabus rear spoiler looked better then the one made for the +2001 version of the car.

The front spoiler looks nice tho'. The Pre 2001 model didn't have a full spoiler like that, the Brabus kit for it was just a lower lip.

I had that setup on my car.

If you can afford it, go for it. Rieger stuff would be cheaper.

Eh, both of the ones you posted look like crap. I have seen some good looking body kits for the SLK, but like Kirill said, you want it to look aggressive and mean.

The problem is, I have yet to see a really good looking rear bumper for the SLK. Good luck and post some more options. I love looking at this stuff and I think I have a pretty good taste in it because I have experience with ricers(and what looks ricey) and I am young(not that that has anything to do with it.

Rieger?

The Brabus kit costs:
Front $1240
Rear $1065
Side skirt is actually unavailable for '01 model and up.

My body shop is waiving the cost of paint and installation. So...hmmm does that change your mind about the kit?

Expression kit looks like an add-on to 01' model and below. I wonder if it fits my setup.

Yes, ideally I want an AMG kit too, but the prices are astronomical:

F 680
R 1540
side 1290x2

Yeah, I am in the same situtation.
I want a body kit, but the price of the AMG is just outrageous. I could never justify spending like 5K (+ install) on a 6 year old car...
The other kits just don't look as good though.

Yeah, the expression one is only 01 and before.

I actually really like the Rieger kit. It looks really aggressive, especially with those eyelids, and I think it would look really slick in black...and with installation and paint waived, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I don't know about the AMG kit...i mean yes it does look nice, but it's like you're paying to upgrade the look of your car to a model that you didn't get in the first place. If you get the kit, you'll end up getting the badges and wheels, and nobody likes a poser, right?? [:p]

I'd stick to an aftermarket tuner for that truly unique look.

Hey shinigami, do you know what Rieger body kit is made out of? I found on the web site that said ABS, any idea what that is??
