Cap, Rotor, and Spark Plugs are all new.

Any ideas?

My guess would be you have a vacuum leak somewhere. I am about to tackle this same issue on my roommates '88 300e. Idles the same way as yours does. I'll let you know what I figure out.

Could the Lambada being set too lean cause it?

EHA is new. under 6 months old.

Will check for vacuum leaks. With a/c pods not working right it sure is a possibility.

Oil gauge looks a strange one to me because with it being capilary/electric I wouldnt have thought it could move sharply like that.
Earthing connection?
Maybe you are looking for mote than one fault.
