Any los angeles installers install dynavin before?

Just have the old unit removed and these Dynavins are supposed to just pop right in.

From Dynavin themselves.
"The Dynavin DVN-MBE is a plug-and-play replacement for your factory installed headunit. The DVN-MBE features Navigation, Bluetooth, USB, DVD, CD, Radio and much more. The DVN-MBE is designed to fit into the dash of all vehicles listed and replace the headunit currently installed."

Can't the seller tell you what amp to get?

Was this one of those eBay sellers?

Contact Dynavin [email protected]

They are being sued by Google for pirating the Android OS on their latest units. They
have payed no royalties to anybody. They make a nice looking product, but it is a
case of buyer beware.

Is it like this unit here?
DYNAVIN 7" HD Mercedes E Class w211 2002-2008 | eBay

If so with all the custom shops in the LA area a good stereo shop can
change the head unit and the amp in less than 90 minutes for under $500 including
the amp.

When I contacted them a while back they reply was that it would work with the installed amp.

Please share your findings and how you like the unit .. I want to switch as well but would like to hear some experiences first ...

Yes that is the Dynavin i ordered but with MOST to work with fiber optic. I have been told by many people that even though its stated to be fiber optic i might need to change the amp. My plan is to order a AMP and SUB combo from amazon. Have my installer install just Dynavin and if i get no sound have them install the AMP and sub. If i get sounds and it sounds fine keep it oem and return the amp/sub to amazon.

I will let you guys know. Dynavins are HUGE in the e46 community. I had a w46 m3 for 5 years and a e92 m3 for 2 years. Will let you know and will have plenty of pics for you guys. VERY few people on the forum have installed this.

How come they are huge at that forum but very few have installed them? Could it be like here in Europe, most buyers are selling the device as new?

I understood that the navigation SW is also absolutely pirated, was it Tomtom?

Have you been able to make it work. I'm also in LA and would really like to see it in action before I get one. Did you end up changing the amp?
