Came out to my car at home depot to find that someone had popped out both of my side view mirrors. Anyone every had this experience? Not sure if I can just replace the glass. Any suggestions on where to buy?

Many big stores including Home Depot have cameras that monitor the parking lots. If you file a police report, I think they will release the video for that time and date when your mirrors were stolen. I've seen 7/11 release the video to the police to track a customer.
I have 2 spy cams monitoring the side mirrors when I park at places that I don't trust. The cameras stick perfectly between the the headrest and the backrest of the seats.

I do have passenger side mirror glass (with the plug). It is the big, square one from 99 model. At some point newer models switched to smaller, oval mirrors.

I think there is good news and bad news, the passenger side non-dimming mirror is reasonable, the driver side dimming is almost $300, MB almost had kittens when they had to replace mine. It seems it was not covered by the warranty (or what they told me).

Katjek, will that mirror fit the driver's side? My brother's '99 is missing driver's side mirror.

Unfortunately they are "mirror view" items. I was under the impression that both sides are self-dimming since I bought a set and they look the same.
Here is the picture of 99 passenger side glass mirror. Coincidentally I still have whole driver side mirror for W123 if somebody needs it with extra glass.
