I will be installing a full system into a 96 E320 (W210) and wanted to know if the stock Bose speakers and amp is worth anything used???

Other than to shake the other cars, why would you want to take out a Bose system? Even a new HU can likely drive the Bose amp/speakers. The Bose amp and speakers are carefully engineered.

Other than sheer volume, it will be unlikely any other speaker system will sound better. I have an older car with Bose system. To do Mute, I control the Bose amp 12V supply with a relay. When the relay closes and the amps come back on, I can hear the volume ramp gradually, no pops, no nothing. It goes to show how well these amps are made.

If you just want the shake, get a sub and leave the Bose in.

In your 92 the Radio is a two piece affair (Becker) and a bose amp. In 94/95 they changed to a one piece radio, (I dont think Becker any more) no fader on console (in radio) and a different bose amp.
Its doable but you need a different harnes, they had an adapter for the radio, it needed an antenna connector routed to the front, and I have no idea if the rear bose plug would fit the different amp
