I may need to replace some O2 sensors and needed your advice on which O2 sensors are teh best. Should I go with Bosch or with Walker products? Walker is a little more expensive but does that mean they are better?

I believe the OEM is Bosch but I am not really sure. I know there is a lot of talk about the MAF being a very unreliable product from Bosche and I was wondering if its teh same with oxygen sensors.

I don't believe Bosch has quality and reliability. BMW and MBZ both use Bosch parts and they all have lot of common problems. You just don't see reliability of MAF in Japanese cars whose parts were made by Japanese Co. like Denso.

that's the first time i hear that bosch sucks. i thought bosch has the best stuff for our cars. personally i would stick with bosch, since most of the electronics in the car are bosch.

There could also be this notion that German cars should use German parts. I suppose when you go to a parts dealer. if the dealer say it's from Germany you would be more than likely to buy it over another country that makes the same part, It would reduce customers having second thoughts. I'm saying this for German cars only. When it comes to oxygen sensors the only company that comes to mind is Bosch and knowing they are a German manufacturer of OEM parts, i guess i would buy that because of the German reputation. This is the first time i heard of walker but hey i could be wrong.

I am not saying Walker is better than Bosch or no know of a replacement. Just about every car on the road has MAF but MBZ and BMW that use Bosch parts are only cars that go bad prematurely. Specially on MBZ, we can pretty much say all will go bad soon or later, mostly in between 20,000 miles and 60,000 miles. CPS, brake switch, O2 sensors, etc are in the same category.
Lexus and Infinity have no issue with MAF. Nobody talks about it, period!
