I know im asking a questions millions have asked. I just bought a 2006 c 350 and I have no idea how to set up the bluetooth. I was told the car is wired for it, but it seems like what I've read I need another piece to go in the arm rest to complete. I'd appreciate anyone with patience.

Thanks

Thanks FBlack the link will be a great help, I don't see the bluetooth in the armrest. When I raise the armrest I only see the black cloth, and on the left side of it there is a raised area which is covered, is it possible my bluetooth is under this raised cloth area.

Thanks for your patience

I am afraid to say it, but chances are your car is not pre-wired for the Bluetooth Puck. If it is pre-wired, you would see a small plug like devise that the Puck attaches into. I have a 2005 S430 and it is not pre-wired either. In addition to the Puck which costs over $400, it's expensive to wire the car. So I just gave up for my S.

if youve got one of these plastic humps in the console somewhere then you've got an MHI connection and can use a silver bluetooth puck like the one found in FBlack's link

depending on your model that connection might be on the floor of the console or on the back wall of it like in my e350. if you don't see it then yeah you'll have to spend alot more to get it wired.

this thing is called the iTronic that costs about $900 uninstalled. Go for it :) its only money.

There are probably other solutions out there to wire it but its all pretty expensive.
