My 1989 300E 124 blower motor could not be controlled (not running), so I have been trouble-shooting it for a few days ... fuses good, climate controller replaced, bad mono valve replaced, removed and tested blower motor - good, and now down to blower regulator! It appears good based on general diode testing with VOM/DVM, but I do not know which regulator leads are what! I am assuming it is a real transistor-based voltage regulator.

Who has info on testing the regulator out of circuit and in-circuit? Wiring schematic?

IF the regulator test good and based on my testing above, and if blower still does not run, what next? The Hall Effect device I guess?

Thanks, Billy
