After a really nice week in Cornwall we left at midday and by 12.05 we had stopped, thought I had a puncture so after struggling to get service on the phone managed to find a tyre as I don't have a spare, took the wheel off to find the rim graced on the inside, so after a 9hr recovery vehicle ride we got home, on the upside I now HAVE to buy a new set of wheels, mmmmm decisions decisions, any suggestions?
What brands will fit a 638, ie VW, Audi, BMW?

None of the above....Merc WILL fit VAG cars but not the other way round....centre bores are different....BMW are a no no....:(

Aftermarket wheels (112x5) generally have big c/b's but then you need the right spigot rings....

Just been down the same route with two spanked (pothole damaged) aftermarket alloys. Have just purchased a shiney new set of wheels and tyres from here: Storm Commercial Van Alloy Wheels // Projex Design UK // Alloy Wheels Specialist

The guy told me the wheels are load rated and insurance compliant to mercedes spec......... they fit straight on with no need for spigot rings etc and didn't completely break the bank...!
