I have a black CLS 63. Im going to put on 19' or 20' after market wheels, with chrome lips. I have bought many wheel packages over the years, but never a black wheel. I think they would look great on my black car, but will they look new, clean in the long run? As new as chrome or the brushed look would? What does everyone think?
PS, I just found this site, and love it. All the info, pics, ect!

i think a flat or satin black center with a chrome or brushed lip would look hot!
all chrome or all brushed has very classy (beautiful car)look. but the black center gives it that custom (bad a$$ car)look...jmo

on a dark color car i think your right, and airspeeds car looks sik...but on a silver or white car i think a black wheel is the look..:thumbsup:
and of course on your hose reel you always use a chrome 24"...LOL

hell, i even put a little black in my stock corvette wheels. this is my 3/4 ton big block corvette tow vehicle. ever seen one of these before...

your exactley right BenzHund, a cls would look good with anything...we all just need something to debate over, or else it would get boring

I ended up buying some chrome MHT Montage wheels, and had them color matched to my black 63. What do you think?

good choice, the car looks great! i would maybe lower the rear 1" jmo

Air Speed, your car is stunning! i try to add a little BLING! to everything i have, even my trailers...lol. i go back and forth on chrome and black. i have several custom bikes, with both chrome and black wheels and it all depends on the look your after. the blacked out look works for most things, but it's a little (new school and risky) for some people.
