Black Headlights with Clear lenses - Anyone

Has anyone on here tried the black headlights with the clear lense (not smoked) on their S-Class? I've been thinking about getting a set of these to put on my S430 that I just bought but am not sure how they will look. If anyone has, please let me know. If you have any pics of what they look like that you could post, that would be great!

Just had the windows tinted and put on a set of Lowenhart rims with Nitto Tires.

Thanks...

THANKS!!!

The Lowenhart Rims are 20" (LD1), Metallic limo tint in the back, 20% metallic tint on front...
Have you noticed any change in your ride after you put the bigger rims on? Did you lose a lot of the "Luxury" feel? I just purchased an 02 S55 and I was thinking 20 or 22" Asanti's. I have always rode big rims on all my rides and never really cared how it felt as long as I was choppin , but I'm a little older now, and I really am hesitant; thinking about losing that good "ride".

Hey BIGKEV176... I was worried about the same thing when I was looking around for rims. The car was riding so smooth on the factory wheels, I did not want to give that up for a shaky/bumpy ride. I had thought about only going up to 18", but someone convinced me to go with the 20". I have to say after going with the 20", I am completely happy. Mercedes does a great job with the suspension and that "air" ride, so honestly, I don't really feel any difference. The one thing where there is a slight difference is the noise. The 20"s with the Nitto tires are slightly louder... Again... it is only a slight difference. Infact, my wife can't tell the difference at all.

I am really happy I chose to go with the 20". I think it makes the car look great and I didn't give up any of that "comfort" feel.

Hope that helps...

Forgot to put this in my last post. The rims are 20" Lowenhart, "LD1". The tires on the front are 245/35 ZR20 and the ones on the back are 275/30 ZR 20, with Nitto Extreme 555.

I've had no issues at all with the tires rubbing...

ditto on 20s

I went with 20s on my 2000 s430, and the same tire set up, have not had any issues whatsoever. Car still rides beautifully.
Pic 1,2 and 3 are from this summer, pic 4 is from last summer before I updates the lights.
The wheels are 20'' CL63 Replicas.
