Hey guys, I have found out through searching older threads that the 98 Bilstein rears are no longer available. What I would like to know is whether any of you have put on 99 Bilstein rears on a 98's rear. Or if anyone here knows what the difference between the 98 and 99 rear suspension is, it would be very helpfull. I'm ready to buy new shocks but cant seem to find anything but OEM's for the rear !! HELP !!

Do Ranchos work on our trucks ?? Are there specific applications needed or are they pretty much universal ?? Thxs in advance guys !!

Doesn't make sense that a fitment for '98s would not be available. I love my Bilsteins, BTW. I got mine from MercedesShop--try them. http://www.mercedesshop.com/ or [email protected]

Fronts were BE5-6456-HO, Rears were BE5 2984.

When I was about to buy mine, I called Bilstein to confirm the part number, and was told that they had ceased manufacture of them. No reason given.
