Just wondering what's the difference between Bilstein HD shocks and Bilstein SP shocks. I know one is heavy duty and one is sport but how are they different performace wise. I have bilstein shocks installed on my car now and am not sure which I have installed. How can I tell which ones I have. Thanks.

Don't go by the color but by the parts number on the side bottom shock then call up Bilstein........

<br> The different is that Bilstein HD shock are made ideally to use with factory spring (15% stiffer then stock shock and Clk 55 factory shock are Bilstein HD shock). And Bilstein 'sport' shock (30% stiffer then stock shock)are made more for handling then softer ride and about an 1' shorter to accomodate for shorter sprinf like Frank say. Bilstein just came out a new shock for Bmw that painted blue and called it 'touring'.
