Benz CLK 350 2007, Thermotronic switches on blows like mad then switches off after a minute, temp setting 22 degrees, outside 14 degrees, all windows shut plus sliding roof. Tried different temp settings, no change, tried manual settings, nothing happened, checked diagnostics on car console, no warnings. Ideas gratefully received.

Out of interest - what a/c diagnostics did you use?

No diagnostics yet, dealer shut for the next 4 days, and the Thermotronic malfunction just happened yesterday. We shall find the cause next week when the dealer gets the car.
