I came off the interstate after cruising 80 mph for 40 minutes - came to a red light and suddenly loss A Lot of power from the V12 after driving approx. 1.5 miles with this loss of power- (car seems to be running on all cylinders- just no power) I pulled over and witnessed a cherry red passenger side catalytic converter - after the cat cooled down- I started the car- same problem - is this just a plugged cat or is there soemthing wrong wiht the timing/air fuel ratio- to cause the cat to melt ?
Towed the car home- replace the cat or what ?

thats definately a bad cat. But hey! Think of it this way, you now have an excuse to put on high flow cats!! Fix it soon, that can blow your rings if you drive it like that a lot.
