Hi, apologise for raising this old issue again but I've searched a few forums for the answers but cannot get a clear idea...

I'm changing from halogen to OEM bi-xenon headlamps.

1) The halogen only got 1 electrical socket but the Bi-xenon's got 3 of them, can I just plug in the one that fits ? Leave the other 2 open ?

2) I understand I dun have the auto-levelling, so does that mean I cannot adjust the light level from the usual dial located next to the light switches ?
Anyway to adjust the level whn there are more passengers so I dun blind the traffic ?

Thanks in advance !

The vacuum lines need to be sealed at the kick panel in the drivers side. The load adjustment dial will no longer work and you dont want to suck junk into the vacuum system.

The calibration at level should be done with markings used from the old lights against a wall or garage door. With the new ones you should have no trouble adjusting the lights to the same location.

The main offset is in the big torx screw on top of the lamp unit (one of the assembly bolts goes through it). Transfer that amount of offset to the new lamp units to match the old lamp unit and then fine tune it with the trim adjustments.

Its not that hard to do a job that isnt auto-levelling but I think that most people just forget about or dont care about the unused vacuum hoses.
