I bought a 2005 CLK320 a couple of months ago, but only recently realized that the Xenon highbeams do not work. Instead, the halogen flash-to-pass lights come on when I flip the lights to the highbeams. According to the manual, the xenons themselves should adjust to the highbeam position. When the Xenon lowbeams turn on, I can see them go through the automatic leveling adjustments so I know the internal motors are working. Does this sound like a coding issue with the car, or maybe it's a burned out fuse? Any suggestions or feedback would be appreciated. I'd prefer fix it myself if possible, rather than leave it for a day at the dealership.

Thank you for your time and input.

Mystery solved. The high-beam part of the Bi-Xenon light is actually working, but the halogen flash-to-pass high-beams also turn on, so I just didn't notice the change. Odd that both lights are designed to come on, but it's certainly bright. :)
