Guys/Gals, I have a list of questions:

Photos, then questions:

1) What's the best way to clean up this rear brake area? The driver's side parking brake bottom shoe seems to be sticking, and the top doesn't engage at all. Passenger side seems OK. I read the Haynes manual, and it's useless. I checked the Encyclopedia, but don't see this specific repair in there. Do I remove the e-brake assembly? How do I get it out? The cable is lodged in there, and I don't want to break anything.

2) Is there a way to get the brake dust shield off without disassembling the hubs/spindles? I just want to clean it and repaint it.

3) Do the calipers need to be completely disassembled to paint them, or can they be done whole?

4) Do they make SS brake lines for our cars? I don't mind bleeding the system if SS lines are available. I have an automatic bleeder.

Any help would be great.

Lastly, some more pictures of the "blown" sway bar end links. I just ripped the ball-socket apart and used a deep 11/16 socket to unfasten it from the spindle ass'y.

Old vs new

One more thing, and example of where rust holes can be useful! ;)
