The best quality, closest to MB leather, is going to be GAHH. I understand you can get MB-Tex for half the cost of GAHH leather.

You’re going to pay for GAHH. Last saw, you’ll be looking at $1800.

Are you sure you want the best? Or the best value?

GAHH probably best quality, lseat.com probably best value. See discussion:

I’ve read places where they say MB-Tex. And it’s 1/2 the cost of GAHH leather. I’ve also read in the same threads where they talk about other vinyls, which are like MB-Tex. So I think you can get the real deal. That said, some of the things I’ve read, MB-Tex has been around forever. It may be their patents no longer stand. And the other vinyls are made to MB-Tex standards.

At 1/2 the cost of GAHH, MB-Tex is a little more than lseats (which I installed in my Miata). I’m really tempted to go MB-Tex for whatever next vehicle I have to do a replacement.

OP stated best, not best value. I took him at his inquiry 😉

Here’s an interesting thread on GAHH leather vs MB-Tex.
