Hi There.......Newbie Alert from me.

I'm in Canada and have been researching the import of a 15 year old+ Defender. Now I'm leaning towards a 95/96/97 G Series Diesel. 5 Door.

Can you guys please let me have some insight into the better diesel engine choice for the G series.

Most of my mileage will be highway but the reason for a Defender or G choice is for back country photography expeditions.

MPG is an attraction too and the ability to easily cruise at 120KMH with power to pass.

Any help you can offer would be awesome.

You'll have 100x better luck with this question on the Expedition Portal forum. All they do is compare notes on this or that vehicle for getting out there!
