Yep, and the plugs at Autohaus AZ are resistor.

And the plugs for $129 are non resistor copper core.

NLA in the US, I import them from Germany.

NGK BP6EF or BP6EFS plugs are also an acceptable alternative. They are non-resistor plugs with the correct taper seat.

Close, BP5EFS is the same heat range,

BP6EFS is the same as H7DC0, two heat ranges colder

Denso T16EP-U also is the same, but hard to find,
so people are using T20EP-U, which also is one heat range colder.

So:

Bosch H9DC0

NGK BP5EFS

Denso T16EP-U

NGK and Denso cross reference for the non belivers.

So we don't want resistors in our sparkplugs? Why?

This has been covered 100 times, so here's 101.

MB uses copper core wires (cable)

The resistors are in the spark plus connectors, or as MB calls them suppressors.

Resistor plugs can double the specified resistance value of the ignition system.

MB still specifies them in the EPC, therefore they are the only plugs
approved by MB in all W124's

Thanks for your explanation and patience.

Found this too- Do not put platinum plugs in a vehicle that was designed for non-resistor copper plugs. Resistance is built into the plug wires, so doubling the resistance can cause the following:
A) Increased emissions AKA FAILED SMOG/EMISSIONS TEST
B) Poor fuel economy and performance
C) Long term damage to ignition systems

I've gotten my spark plugs at NGK Spark Plugs Denso Spark Plugs Champion Spark Plugs Bosch Spark Plugs FREE SHIPPING, but I only see H8DC0 on there now (which are off by one temperature point)

Like I said, H9DC0 are no longer sold in the US, Bosch only has resistor plugs.

This is not new, since 2008 members on all forums have had a hard time
finding the correct plug.

That's why I started importing them from Germany along with all other
plugs for W124's.

H8DC0, H9DC0, and F8DC4. All German made non resistor copper core
from MB Germany.

Rockauto has 4 H9DC available. They are the only place I can ever find non resistor plugs such as W9DC for my older Mercedes for $2 a plug.

Two problems with that.

He needs 6 plugs for the M103

That plug (H9DC) was superseded to H9DC0 in the late 80's, what is now spec for the M103.

I stock over 100 H9DC0 imported from Germany.

Yes, I am quite aware 6 are needed. Also aware that "0" at the end of part# means deviation from basic design, i.e. a more heavy duty electrode.

Very good, and there's a reason for that, as it is employed in all the
different Bosch plugs of the period.

Just buy them from Clark! I did and the transaction was simple, the prices were right, shipping was fast and (most importantly), the parts are the real deal.
