As the title states, Mrelbe and myself are planning a trip to Whitehorse, Yukon spring / summer of 2015.

Really...we are just talking about it. Floating the idea. Kicking it around. Fleshing it out.

What say you?

Depends. If you bring the MGA....we'll definitely need a tow rope.

Oh! You're the one.
They took my name and tag number at customs and told me they'd be looking for me if they didn't have a record of me crossing back in 30 days.

I had that 55 VW packed to the sunroof, back then, I think they figured I was trying to avoid the draft.

I found a copy of the Edmonton whole earth catalog and thought I was in heaven.

Couldn't figure out all those parking meters with electrical cords on them, though.

:D

Selection #2.....I've never been through Thunder Bay. I think it adds 200kms.

As long as you all are headed that far, come a bit farther West and I can probably dredge up a Ore/Wash contingent to catch up with you East Coast/Canadian yahoos! Course I guess I'd have to dredge up a passport at the same time ! :D

There is no coastal road north of Vancouver. Possible join up locations would be Calgary or Edmonton.

I was wondering why you weren't going to take the Trans-Canada Highway...

Well.....I have never been across Canada by car. Mrelbe has numerous times.

That TCH around the lakes is a brutal kidney buster.....but I want to see that for myself.
