Over the weekend I replaced the v-belt on my 270 cdi. The only problem I had was no socket to fit the tensioner. So I found a crow bar would move it and the hex key (instead of the pin) would keep it place.

With the new belt on things seem to be fine. I checked each part when the belt was off and no real problems. The only thing I found was the rubber spacer from the top water pipe had come off and my have hit the belt on its way down so knocking it out of place?

The give leave me with two questions.
1. What dose your tensioner wheel look like on tick-over. My one chatters a little about ' ' that much?

2. What sockets/tools do I need to work on the car (torx size)?
