$150,000. That's the starting bid and there's no reserve on the auction. I'm sure that it will probably end up selling for around 170k but we will just have to wait and see who is the lucky winner. Any comments?

In the end, it didn't sell, even at an opening bid of $150k. Maybe there's a dose of economic reality kicking in which says you don't pay $000's over list in the current economic climate. In the days when Cisco was worth 6 times what it is now and Lucent 30 times, that might have made sense. Not any more.<br>

I'm not too surprised it didn't sell. Shortly, people can buy SL55's here, and $150K will get you one in the not-too-distant future. Plus, resale values on gray-market cars is always bad. Plus, gray-market cars have a bad reputation. Plus, it's just kind of risky to spend $150K on ebay when the car is in another country. Plus, the car hasn't been converted yet. Too much risk, not enough benefit.
