The after pic looks cool more agressive, but the before looks alot better do to the sleek and classy look. Nice car, qns, can you take the 19's back and get some realy nice chrome rims, I think that will give you the look your looking for, a set of nice chrome rims with a 3 to 5" lip full body. Just a thought.

Thanks for the feedback so far...Just a couple things.. You're right about the look slybydesignw210, it went from a classy look to a more sporty look.
I think the picture "before" was just a great picture of the car. It was a great angle and it was a bright sunny day outside. Yesterday I couldn’t get a good pictures of the car (overcast) and it was plssing me off..Anyway, ever since I put these new rims on, everyone that knows the car are very impressed with the look (they are probably lying to me hahaha). A couple reasons for the change: I thought that the AMG's I had before where fine on the car (ride wise), but they really weren't. After I put these rims and tires on the ride is what it should be. The other reason was for the black on black look. I think the car looks better than it did before, but you really need to see it in person to appreciate the new look.
Oh, and these rims do have a lip but not a very big one. I think maybe 2 inch in back, but the black throws it off in pictures (bad day to take pics) and regarding the chrome, I use to be a big fan of it, but for some reason I don’t like that look anymore.. Thanks again for the feedback so far..I will try and take a better pic of the BB when the sun comes out here in sunny San Diego..

Thanks again for all the feedback so far...

tonyr69, Im in daygo..halla.....good stuff, I can imagine the black gloss works fine with the gloss of your car, but I feel even if you got a different set of black out rims that covers more of the radius, deeper chrome or metal lip. Those rims are realy nice, but imagine for the same money you spent on those rims you can get 19's that realy realy bring it out with more closure. I will upgrade my rims soon, but I wanna do some cosmetics first

Good points. But let me tell you the motivation of this upgrade.. The rim tire upgrade only cost me 200 bucks.. I found the rims on Craigslist for only 500 brand new and I paid 900 hundred for the tires.. I also sold my AMG's on CL, but got 1200 for mine.. Maybe in the near future I'll swap them out...What part of SD are you in?

oh, ok i see, in the end your upgrade does look good, if i saw it i would be impressed, but you did do a before and after. I think if your post started out with "What you think of these rims" with out the before others and my self would have responded differently. In any case nice look collectively and much sportier and agressive especialy with the tints.

I have never been a fan of those AMG rims you had on there before. Some of them I like, but those AMG spokes are too "chunky" in my opinion. Also, I do like the wheels that originally came on the sport package for the post-facelift W210. For example, the ones acarter53 has on his E430 sport. I don't know what they looked like for the pre-facelift models. I have the 10-spoke OEM on mine and those are one thing I don't like about my car's appearance.
