I picked up a 2005 CLK yesterday (different post) and it has Keyless-go. I'm not sure if this is the way it's supposed to be, but when you open the door, with or without the key in your pocket, it starts beeping and displays "Key - Don't forget key". It goes away when you start the car, close the door or hit one of the menu screen buttons, but is pretty annoying to say the least. Is this something that is set in the Command menu's or ?

Thanks!

I don't have Keyless-go - so I'm not sure....

However, I do get screen messages (plus 1 beep) reminding me when I open my driver's door after switching off the engine that, say, the sunroof is open or the lights are still on.

As it is just a helpful reminder, I'm OK with that. I don't think that it can be altered by the cluster settings. :)

correction: beeps for the lights are continuous, until the drivers door is closed.
