I've got a set of BBS wheels on my car that I really like. While on vacation a couple weeks ago I bumped a curb with my back wheel and got a series case of road rash on the rim protector. I've tried with no success to find a wheel retailer to repair. They all tell me I'll have to send it back to the company. I called the BBS and they quoted me a price of $275 just to replace the rim protector!!
I did some research and found a web site that actually shows the process and it isn't that difficult. My problem is finding the replacement rim protector. Can anyone help me out? Do you know where I can find the parts?

Thanks for the sites. I was able to research more and find out that they're "lips" as well. I even found them on ebay. The only problem is that I haven't been able to find them in the 18" wheels. They only list 15 -17".

Perhaps emailing BBS directly with your questions can help. They should be able to direct you to a retailer.

I have emailed these ebay sites to see if they sell the RS704 18". I have also talked to the rep at BBS USA. I'm trying to compare prices to see who has the best "deal."

I've contacted two suppliers and both said that they do not have the rim lips for the RS704 18". I guess I'm stuck with going to BBS-USA.

Today I called BBS and was told that they do not have any more parts to fit the RS704 - 18". So now I'm stuck with a damaged wheel. The only option that I have left is to buy another set of different wheels.
