Okay guys here's a good one for you. i recently noticed if my car is left to sit more than two days the battery is dead. performed a battery draw test and found that there was a .550 amp draw. the spec from mercedes is .09 amps. well with my multimeter on i started pulling fuses and found that the 5 amp e-call fuse was were my draw was. but with out that fuse in the srs bsp lights are on and the radio won't work. anyone run into the source of this draw before?

I haven't stumbled across that one, but in your shoes I'd first remove the fuse, then slide out the radio and unplug it (disconnect the battery first and be sure you have your radio code, which you must if your battery is going dead on you all the time). Then reconnect the battery and plug the fuse back in and see what the draw is. If it's okay you know it's something in the radio, if not then put things back and remove the brake light switch (a known troublemaker on late model benz). If that takes care of it replace the switch with one from the dealer (or a genuine part, the aftermarket ones can be problematic). Even at the dealer it's only about $25.

Hopefully it's one of those. Good luck, man.

Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg
