First, which battery do you recommend?

This one:

Zip Code Entry at PartsAmerica.com

or this one:

AutoZone.com | Shopping | Zip Code

Also, I was told that when they change batteries at the local shop here, they use a "memory saver" for the radio. They said it works 90%-95% of the time. Do you know if this works for the ML320?

I don't have my radio card. I called MB and they said to just go to one of the dealerships with a proof of ownership to get the code. I'm just trying to save the hassle.

Thanks in advance.

I would just get the radio code. You're going to need it sooner or later and you won't have to worry about whether or not the "memory saver" works. It seems easy, just do it and never worry about your code again.

And while your there buy the Benz Battery which fits perfectly and is competitively priced. Also, I'm pretty sure it's the only battery on the market that works with the cars battery safety strap/mounting hardware.

By the way, your links don't work.

Call MB Roadside assistance - get the full deal

MB Roadside assistance will deliver and install the correct OE battery, including all radio code and reset issues...

The last time the ML battery was changed I am sure it was under $120 for the full deal...
