Yes, DC was on fire. Literally.

MB was passed by BMW. Congratulations to BMW - they are the real thing now. Not like Honda, Toyota.

Great race. Heck of a drive by Heidfeld, with honorable mention to Coulthard. Does anyone remember Shaq O'Neil pickung up little Heidfeld at the Monaco GP a few years back? I think the first four were quite impressive. Alonso was a bit disapponting, as were a few of his moves, when Raikkonen was breathing down his neck.
27 Days till the next one? What the hell is Bernie thinking?

yeah alonso and raikkonen were both disappointing...esp at the restart after the safety car...

i think it's a good idea to have a long break after 3 GPs...gives the teams time to evaluate their performances and make improvements...i think BMW and redbull're going to be the dark horses

man i havent been so excited over a f1 season since 98/99/2000...i'm not missing schuey at all!

Lewis Hamilton continues to impress. Taking him for granted already guys? Heck 3 podium places from 3 starts is awfully impressive. And he's raced for them too which is even better. The car is clearly good but it is the equal of the Ferrari and now perhaps the BMW. Whoever wins the constructors this year will have worked for it!

Alonso seemed to struggle with setup, don't think he quite managed to get the car where he wanted it. You could see straight from the start that he was fighting understeer and oversteer in the corners. Kimi also didn't look to clever at times.

BMW have come on a storm - will make things interesting now that Renault appear to have departed the scene at the top...

Hamilton continues to impress, best debut races ever for any new driver, he does need a win and I thought he might get it here, but he oozes class, calm and confidence. His first mistake will be pilloried but until then let's just enjoy the racing!

Congrats to Massa on a hard earned win, and to DC on the most entertaining drive of the year so far - bet he enjoyed himself - obviously they'd pumped some Red Bull into his fuel tank before the start...

McMerc doing well and that's the main thing at this stage - no retirements and especially not from engine failures.

Congrats to Massa! Looks like he finally got a better car, and not a car that was designed for Schumey. If Ferrari is going to keep this up for Massa, he can easily be the man this year.

too early to tell who is the man this year. my money for the championship might even go on hamilton. if he maintains this kind of consistency then he'll be right up there for sure.

Should Hamilton get a win this year, or heaven forbid, two wins, I think you could walk through all of Britain without finding anyone (excepting perhaps Ol' Murray) that'd remember who Jenson Button was. :D

Your $100 is looking a bit safer, after McMerc thrashed Ferrari in Monaco. 69 sec to 3rd place! Takes me back to the glory days of 1998 when Mika and DC beat Michael Schumacher's Ferrari by a minute in Brazil. In the opening round in Australia they lapped everybody.
