So for a summer project, I came up with the idea to put air bag suspension on my ML.
Is there anyone out there who has done this before who has any tips? I was looking up different kits and most of everyone says that it will mostly be bolt on with the air bags. I guess what I need to know is if there is any custom fabrication I need to do with the frame and suspension, or is it just replacing the coils/shocks with the bags.

I am interested in air bags to add to the off road capabilities. The problem is the front is tortion bar suspension. Where would you put the air bags. Also the rear coil spring is skinney and I've never seen any air bags that would fit in there... If you are able to find a way to make it work I am very interested...

just goes to show how long I've been away from the ML...
well I'll keep searching. It's been done before, I just need to see how difficult this will be. if anybody else has some tips that would be nice.
