Hi all, i own a CLK200 , it`s a smaller engine on the European Market only, so don`t make any bad jokes :) we didn`t heard about 430 in europe too..

anyway, i have 16" wheels on it and i have to replace the tyres because their way to used; i don`t want to replace the wheels and get 17" maybe 18" right now but i want to get 235/45 tyres, do you think it would be a bad ideea for such small wheels ? (16") i`m talking about 235/45 on rear and 215 on front.

my current wheels specs are:
Size: 7.5 x 16
PCD: 98 a/to 120,65
Offset: 15 30 35

i took this directly from my wheels manufacturer website ( Binno wheels ); don`t know the exact offset.

thanks to all inquiries

I suggest you go to the Tire Rack for info of that nature - they're good folks & won't steer you wrong on tie & wheel stuff.

Yes that is a bad idea and will not look good. Only go with lower profile tires if you are getting larger wheels. A 45 series tire won't look good on 16" wheels, and I'm not even sure you can find 235/45/16's. My advice is to get the cheapest tires you can until you can upgrade your wheels...

Bad idea, your wheels/tires will be about 34mm lower than the original. This means that you will lose power and the odometer will run more than the actual.
