Back from South Africa

Well I had a great time in South Africa but did not see ONE Gwagon. darn darn darn.
Was told that the new ones are way to much and not many older ones there.
I did however see about 10,000,000 defenders so that was great.
I will get some on the cooler pictures of the trip on my site and one of a Unimog 404 firetruck responding to a fire.
Glad to be back in the US

Welcome back,

Next time maybe you can bring back a roof tent like Dave got. It should fit in your suitcase! You probably could pay for it going to SA with Gwagen parts and returing with Defender parts.

What a pitty!

I wish I would have been in SA during your stay, you would have definitively see a G-Wagon.

They are around, is just that they are all very FAST since most of them had the engine zooped-up[;)][;)].

Glad you had a good time and hope that all is well with your in-laws! Next time you come to SA I'll take you to the "Real" Bundu!

Best wishes, amzimmy
