She's a tool

Occasional human being and pretend presidential candidate Michele Bachmann took a swipe at Occupy Wall Street movement Sunday, saying that the movement is far less likely to gain traction with Americans than the Tea Party. Despite the fact that polls show Americans favor the OWS movement over the Tea Party, Bachmann never misses an opportunity to totally miss obvious facts.

The strength is not with Occupy Wall Street,” she said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “If you go to the essence of what Occupy Wall Street stands for, it’s having other people pay for their stuff.”

Aside from the glaringly erroneous myth that OWS is a somehow a socialistic menace, in spite of the fact that protestors say the movement is actually about holding the 1percent accountable to their greed and ensuring that our leaders represent the interests of the people and not Exxon Mobil and Goldman Sachs, Bachmann would know a thing or two about handouts. Much like with everything with today’s pretend Republican Senators or Congresspeople, it ultimately boils down to one thing: “Do as I poorly say, not as I do”.

For example, the Washington Post uncovered a $417,000 federally-subsidized loan from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that was used to help Bachmann purchase a luxury house even as she was shrieking for the Mortgage giants to be dismantled. But Bachmannn is not only a socialist, she’s also a thief.

Not even able to curry the support of Iowan conservative wing-nuts, Bachmann deceptively and flagrantly lifted a contact list of a group of Iowan Christian Home schoolers and relentlessly spammed them with her incoherent psychobabble. The group fired back with an email of its own.

From the Iowa Republican:

I want to apologize on behalf of the NICHE Board and advise you that we discovered that our list of homeschool contacts was uploaded without our knowledge or permission by the Michele Bachmann Campaign and used twice for e-mails from her campaign. We have been assured by the Bachmann Campaign that it was inadvertent. Due to safeguards built into our contact list, we immediately recognized the use.

You know your campaign is in bad shape when crazy wing-nuts from Iowa don’t like you.

Perhaps Michele Bachmann should first consider her own miserable failures and acts of shame and hypocrisy before she goes maligning a legitimate movement with the sole purpose of taking our democracy back from tax-cheating corporations.
