On my C 36 I just put in the Avantgard Grill from Bekkers. Everything went fine except now I have that gray tab that you pull to open the hood up sticking out like a sore thumb.. I looked at the unit and have no idea to remove it or what.. Does MB make a black one of these tabs? Can you spray paint it black? How do you remove the tab to do either one? Help Dan

This is not going to be very helpful but I will post it anyway. I have an S600 look grill on mine and was concerned about the release pull but found that when the hood is closed, it really can't be seen so I didn't touch it. <br> <br> Before this, I had considered pulling the entire latch and taking it to a friends body shop to with the handle painted gloss black to blend in. In all this would have been simple and inexpensive but turned out not to be needed on mine. <br> <br> Carl <br>
